4: Saving Francesca - Melina Marchetta

Started: Friday 10th August
Finished: Sunday 12th August

I have read this book before, but I wanted to read it again as I'm studying depression at uni. I'm going to be looking for some more books about mental illnesses, especially schizophrenia. But I like this book. It was about identity, and I sometimes feel like I need to find mine. I like Melina Marchetta's books, they're about young people, and they're not at all condescending or naive. In fact, I've never read books with so much realism and so little corn. Yep. I like it.

3: The New Girl - R.L. Stine

Started: 3rd August
Finished: 3rd August

So... on Friday I ran into the craft shop up the road from me to get some DMC 902, and locked my keys in the car. Dammit. So to kill some time until my sister came by to rescue me, I went to across the road to the library and read a quick and easy book. So I was walking past the display and saw R.L. Stine, so I grabbed it. It only took me a couple of hours to read, and I really don't remember why I used to love them so much. Although, I think the ones I used to read were a little different, more supernatural themes, like Snowmen coming to life, and typewriters that make stories come true and so on. Oh well, it's still another book!

2b: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - J.K. Rowling

Started: July 24th 3007
Finished: August 5th 2007

Well, I read it again, and I think I'm feeling better about it now. I still haven't come to terms with Dumbledore, but I'm starting to come to terms with the Deathly Hallows plot. I'm still in love with Snape, despite some other people's opinions of his treatment. (Snapecast and Pottercast) Ah Well.

I decided not to give re-reads their own number, so this is not number 3, it's 2b.
