Phew. I can't believe it's over.

It took me way longer to read this book than it did for any of the previous ones. Jamie and I came home and read chapter by chapter, discussing between chapters. The problem was, Jamie is a much slower reader than I am, so I was relieved when he decided to go out in the evening so that I could devour the last 2/3 of the book in peace. So I finally finished at 4:30am.

I had tears rolling down my face for about half the book. It was a triumphant finish, but I was kind of left feeling... disappointed. I think a re-read is in order. Then maybe I can sort out my feelings.

Well, I think It's obvious why I read this one. I really crammed it in, I was dying to read it just one last time before Deathly Hallows, and I made it. Just.

I love this book. I think it's my second favourite of the lot (after OOTP). Probably because it's so Snaperrific. I've probably read it about 7 times now... Hmmm, anyway, I don't really think there's anything else to say about it that hasn't been said by other people.

Intro to 101 books in 1001 days

So...
I decided a few years ago to start keeping a Book Book. I stole the idea from Suzi. The idea is that I keep track of what books I've read, and when I read them. Well, I kept it meticulously until a few months ago, when I stopped for some reason. I don't exactly know why, but anyway... the point is that I'm now going to start a Book Journal. I'm going to write a record of the books I read, when I read them, as well as writing a little bit about each of them, why I read them, what I thought about them, etc. And as a bonus, I'll be able to keep track of the 101 books I need to read for the 101 things in 1001 days thingy I'm doing at the moment.

Anyway, here's the list as it stood when I stopped doing it a few months ago. If I can remember what I read since then I'll add it to the bottom. It's mostly Harry Potter anyway.
